Canteen CLOSED

Dear Parents

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the canteen will be CLOSED for the remainder of Term 1, until Thursday, 5 March. The canteen will reopen in Term 2, on Friday, 27 April. The school apologises for any inconvenience caused by the closure.

2012 Booklists - To Be Collected From The Office

For those of you who did not collect their child's booklist last Friday, they may be collected from the office. Please ask the office staff for your child's book list.

Child Protection Incident

The Catholic Education Office has received notification of a child protection incident that occurred in Morley last Thursday, 3 November 2011. The following information has been provided by the Department of Education.

2012 Booklists

A reminder to all families that the 2012 Booklists need to be pre-paid and are due back at school on Thursday 27th October at the latest. Those parents who do not meet the deadline will be required to go to Wooldridges directly.

Sacred Saints Sports Cancelled (Yeasrs 5 & 6) - Friday 29th July

Dear parents

Due to the inclement weather, tomorrow's Sacred Saints sports has been cancelled.

Child Protection Incident

The Catholic Education Office has received notification of a child protection incident that occurred in Guildford this morning Thursday, 7 July 2011. The following information has been provided by Guildford Grammar School:

‘I would like to report a man was seen hiding in the bushes at the East Guildford Station at approximately 8.14am this morning, this location is just off Guildford Grammar Property. The man was wearing a dark jacket (brown) Caucasian with brown straggly hair scruffy looking. This has been reported to the police’.

Office Closed Wednesday 6th and 8th July, 2011

Dear Parents

The office will be closed on Wednesday 6th July and Friday the 8th July. The Leadership Team Members will be present in the offices to answer phone calls and to attend to students' and staff needs throughout each day.

I request all parents to attend to school business and other related matters on Monday 4th July, Tuesday 5th July and Thursday 7th July. The canteen will continue to operate as normal.

STUDENT INCIDENT WARNING – CHILD PROTECTION ALERT – GUILDFORD AREA

The Catholic Education Office has received notification of a child protection incident that occurred in Guildford this morning Tuesday, 14 June 2011. The following information has been provided by Guildford Grammar School:

Canteen Closed

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Canteen will
be CLOSED for two weeks from next Monday, 13 June. The canteen will
reopen on Monday, 27 June 2011

St Columba's 75th Anniversary Celebrations

We are celebrating our 75th Anniversary this weekend. We have a Family Fun Night on Friday 4th November at 6pm,with classrooms open from 6-7pm, and a memorabilia display in the library from 6-8, followed by a disco for the children, food and drinks available.
There will be a 75th Anniversary Mass on Sunday 6th November at 9:30am, followed by the naming of the Sr Irena library and Mercy Morning Tea.
