Stepup 4 kids - Columba Runners

The families of St Columaba's have established an amazing Columba Runners program to build our childrens health and fitness. In 2012 we have decided to build on our original success by joining StepUp4Kids a whole community approach to fitness and wellbeing for all our families.

Starting in week two of Term Two we will be offering an afterschool running prgram and are inviting all students of St Columba's to register. Training will go towards the students completing a marathon and the climax of the season will be The City to Surf.

Quiz Night 16th September

After the amazing success of the Winter Wonderland Disco, our next fundraising event will be the Quiz Night on Friday 16th September, to be held in the Chisolm College Gymnasium.

In the last week of school, we will send home a letter asking for donations from all families-and even some friends-as the more prizes we can get, the more money we can raise!!

We will also be asking for volunteers to help us set up tables and chairs on the day,to stock the bar, to mark answers, and to help pack up on the night.

Fete 2009 colouring in competition winners

Congratulations to the following students who won their class category in the 2009 St Columba's Fete Colouring In Competition! Each winner received a gift pack of books for their efforts and the overall winner received an extra prize of gorgeous craft supplies.

Thank you to Mrs Scott and Mrs Dwyer for judging the many entries received. They had a very hard time deciding!

Thank you to the very talented students who submitted such wonderful and colourful entries and helped raise almost $300 for the Fete.
